Tuesday Afternoon Commute! I’m a day late. I’ve spent the last few days in a Theraflu haze. Thanks to my wife for bringing a death-flu back from the last conference she worked. Thanks to my wife for giving me the house I live in though, I suppose, I admit, begrudgingly, with her wonderful private sector job. A give and take, in life. A give and take, in existence.

Naughty Dog says the FUCKING LATEST delay for Uncharted 4 is due to physical manufacturing demands. But man, with all the murmurings about the title’s production problems, staff departures, that sort of shit? And all the delays? I’m worried.

Man, Uncharted is really coming to an end, eh? If Naughty Dog is to be believed. Or rather, perhaps more accurately, they’re about to be done with the franchise and Mr. Drake. The company has released a new cinematic trailer to herald the aforementioned end, which played before The Force Awakens.

We finally have a Uncharted 4 release date. The fourth installment of the series that made the PS3 (and PS4) a must buy for me has been in development for like, futzing ever. It’s gotten delayed, lost a considerable amount of its staff, but whatever. Water under the cosmic bridge or something. It’s real, it’s got a release date, I’m hyped.

Why did Uncharted 4 suffer such a delay? We have our answer. According to Nolan (Nathan Drake) North, when the Last of Us Minds took over the project, they scrapped eight months of work.
