Netflix STRIKES DEAL with Comcast to unf**k their service on said provider
Well, it appears that my lucky comrades who have Comcast will have their Netflix service soon unfucked. Douchebags like me with Verizon? Who knows. I imagine they’re going to stand firm and try and push their Redbox Streaming Bullshit or whatever. God dammit! Yaddayaddayadda landmark deal after the break.

Ben McKenzie is JAMES GORDON on Fox’s ‘GOTHAM.’
Anyone have an opinion on Ben McKenzie? In general? Unfortunately, I don’t. I’m one of those butt heads who helped submarine Southland by never watching it despite great reviews. (I think it had great reviews?) McKenzie has a better chance at ensnaring me in his next role, playing a young Jimmy Gordon in Gotham.

What the fucking golly gosh is this? TV adaptation news day? Third fucking story in the last twenty-four hours. Anyhoo! Less grousing, more newsing. Out of the three stories, this is my favorite. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are definitely bringing Preacher to AMC.
Neil Gaiman’s ‘AMERICAN GODS’ getting another run at TV adaptation
American Gods. Getting another shot at life as a television series. I’ve been sitting on this one for a few days. Talked to some lovely people on the OL Facebook page about it. Ruminated further.Still don’t know how I feel about this.Ya see, it’s no longer being done over at HBO. Instead it’s being helmed by people responsible for some of CW’s lovely programming. (And not Arrow, okay fans of the show? I know I probably should be watching that.)

Who the fuck else would it be Caff, if not Microsoft? I know, I know. Hashtag redundancy. Anyways, before Neill Blomkamp was known for District 9 the good sir directed a series of stunning Halo short films. Bro was even involved in a movie adaptation. But things went and got stalled, which prompted Blomkamp to throw up the deuces. Dare we say the sir is returning to the franchise?

‘BREAKING BAD’ creator VINCE GILLIGAN’S next show is ‘BATTLE CREEK’ ON CBS
Vincent Gilligan may have blown our Pop Culture Psyche’s collective butt hole inside out with Breaking Bad, but the dude ain’t just sitting around resting on his laurels. The good sir is turning his eyes towards network television, bringing to life a show on CBS that he has been developing for quite some time.

After House of Cards was renewed for a second season, the next big question became whether or not David Fincher would direct any episodes. Homeboy directed the pilot, et cetera. We now know the answer: negative. Bummer. Fincher’s aesthetic was a huge sexy portion of the episodes he directed, and immediately disappeared when he was no longer behind the camera. The show’s quality didn’t suffer, but I’m a whore for slick overlays and visual hooks. Alas. So no Fincher.
But! We’ve found ourselves a Spacey and a Wright.
’12 MONKEYS’ TV PILOT could begin filming THIS NOVEMBER.
12 Monkeys was one of those movies that just straight-up fucking terrified me when I saw it for the first time. I was young, it was dark as shit, nothing ended happily. The uncomfortable feeling I had after finishing that first viewing sticks with me to this day. So maybe that’s why I’m both excited and apprehensive about a potential TV series.
