‘True Detective’ season 3 still happening, David Milch of ‘Deadwood’ joins creative team
I have no problem with a third season of True Detective being developed. Sure, I thought the second season was a steaming batch of convoluted diarrhea, but that’s over! Past! The third season is another opportunity, and it’s an opportunity being bolstered by the considerable talents of David Milch.
Matthew McConaughey Would Return For ‘True Detective’ Season 3
Matthew McConaughey is ready to come back for some more True Detective. Me? I’m down for it. Yes, the first season ended perfectly. But my rationale is something like thus — it can’t possibly be worse than the second season. If it sucks, it sucks. But if it works? Hey, it’s all bonus round at this point.
Matthew McConaughey misses Rust Cohle, would consider returning to ‘True Detective’
Torn. I would love more Rust Cohle in my life. Torn. As much as I miss Cohle, there’s really no reason to unspool the character’s coda at the end of the show’s first season. But still. More Rust Cohle. Torn.
Report: ‘True Detective’ is Dead
Time is a flat circle.Nic Pizzolatto ain’t great. And True Detective is dead. This is fine with me.
Alexandra Daddario starring in ‘Baywatch’ movie with Dwayne Johnson
Good grief. I was already going to see Baywatch because I love that big old slab of gorgeous beef, Dwayne Johnson. But now that Alexandra Daddario (from *that* scene in True Detective‘s first season) is going to be in it? Thrice sold.
Cary Fukunaga leaves adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘It’ over budget cuts
Bummer. After True Detective, I’m looking forward to anything Cary Fukunaga is working on. And it ain’t like he doesn’t have a huge slate of upcoming projects, but the idea of seeing him adaptation a classic was intriguing as fuck.
‘True Detective’ Season 2 Character Posters! And details!
We get the world we deserve! Man. Reminds me so much of Jonathan Hickman’s general comic philoso-aesthetic that I have to fight the urge to crack open East of West.
