Chris Hemsworth returning as George Kirk in ‘Star Trek 4’, confirms Abrams
Chris Hemsworth. I love him. Love him as Thor, loved in the original Star Trek reboot, loved him tonight in Ghostbusters. I don’t know the logistics behind his appearance in the theoretical Star Trek 4.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Casting News: Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban
Thor 3 got itself a fucking silly-stacked cast. We already knew about Mark Ruffalo. We already knew about Tessa Thompson. We sort of knew about Cate Blanchett. But Goldblum and Urban, too? Marvel ain’t fucking around, and I imagine for good reason. As much as (my butt) and I worship the Odin-Son, his outings have been largely forgettable to the masses at large. Here is hoping the third installment’s as fantastic as its cast.
Tessa Thompson (‘Creed’) joins ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ as new love interest
Tessa Thompson is great in Creed. I am very excited that she is going to be given the opportunity to be great in Thor: 3 – End of Odinson.
Ruffalo: ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ will combine to feel like ‘Hulk’ standalone movie
Yeah, I don’t know. Mark Ruffalo has a, uh, curious way of describing his character’s presence in Thor 3, and Avengers 3 and 4. The Actor Who Hulks states that in lieu of a Hulk standalone movie thanks to Marvel Studios+Universal Film People Stuff beef, the character’s arc in his next three movies will combine to feel like a standalone movie. Which sort of makes sense? Like — I imagine if you combine the arcs of any of the characters across three or more movies, you have a significant amount of character development.
Rumor: Marvel wants Kenneth Branagh back for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
If you believe the FANBOY SPITTLE-FLAKED TEA LEAVES OF RUMOR, Marvel wants Kenneth Branagh for their third Thor flick.
Revealed: The Identity of the New Female Thor
Like Marvel is always wont to do, they’ve revealed a huge spoiler before the actual issue drops (tomorrow). So! Hark! Spoilers ahead.
Thunderously Awesome: Marvel’s New Thor is going to be a woman.
Nary a week ago my fiancee told me she wanted to be Thor. She asked if there was a female equivalent, and I said Valkyrie. But I followed it up by saying fuck that. You be Thor, if that’s what you’re feeling. Don’t take some mitigated, half-character. Bullshit. And now my prophetic suggestion has become fucking canon. This ain’t “Lady Thor”, this ain’t “Femme 63 Thor”, it’s the bonafide God of Thunder.
