Ruffalo: ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ will combine to feel like ‘Hulk’ standalone movie
Yeah, I don’t know. Mark Ruffalo has a, uh, curious way of describing his character’s presence in Thor 3, and Avengers 3 and 4. The Actor Who Hulks states that in lieu of a Hulk standalone movie thanks to Marvel Studios+Universal Film People Stuff beef, the character’s arc in his next three movies will combine to feel like a standalone movie. Which sort of makes sense? Like — I imagine if you combine the arcs of any of the characters across three or more movies, you have a significant amount of character development.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Rumor: Cate Blanchett playing the villain Hela
Cate Blanchett ain’t even been confirmed for Thor: Ragnarok. But that hasn’t stopped us, the Internet Collective, from learning her role. Potentially.
Report: ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ adding Cate Blanchett as new female lead
On occasion I refer to my belief that the SuperheroLeviathanBastardBeast will be endlessly consuming the entire list of A-List actors, vomiting them out one by one into movie after movie. With Cate Blanchett being added to Thor: Ragnarok, I continue to feel confident in my prediction. But, fuck. I dig this as a fanboy.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ gets new screenwriter, Stephany Folsom
It’s amazing that we have details about Thor: Ragnarok before we have a script. It’s uh, a real look into how the hot dogs are made over there at Marvel Studios.
Report: The Hulk is going to be in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
Oh! I see. Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk went missing at the end of Avengers: Age of Dulltron (I’m trolling, I actually bought the movie). Since then, fans have been wondering where the Big Green Bastard is going to show up, and it looks like we’ve got our answer. In…Thor 3?
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ to be directed by Taika Waititi
With Thor 3, it appears that Marvel is once again thinking outside of the box. The studio is in talks with Taika Waititi (Flight of the Conchords) to direct the third flick, and it’s an interesting choice. At the very least. The cynic in me is like, “yeah, cause you don’t have to pay unproven directors.” The fanboy in me is like, “keep the talent eclectic, it’s good for the Universe.”
Rumor: Marvel wants Kenneth Branagh back for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
If you believe the FANBOY SPITTLE-FLAKED TEA LEAVES OF RUMOR, Marvel wants Kenneth Branagh for their third Thor flick.
Marvel Studios shuffles four movie release dates in wake of Marvel Studios/Sony Spider-Pact
Now that Marvel Studios sort of/kind of own Spider-Man, they certainly aren’t going to cannibalize their own sales. In order to prevent themselves from doing this though, the studio finds themselves having to push around some release dates.
