DC’s ‘Suicide Squad’ News: Jared Leto in final talks for Joker, film will shoot in Toronto
I don’t know why, but the idea of Jared Leto playing The Joker does the seemingly impossible for me. It makes me actually care about something going on in the DC cinematic universe. I know — I know — I’m probably alone.
Maybe: Jared Leto joining ‘Suicide Square’ flick as The Joker
Can’t just take a nice fucking Friday night off, eh? The Internet refuses to Stop. Like I’m trying to eat dinner and get ready to hang out with Rendar and this shit drops. Whatever. Okay. Jared Leto as Joker. What do you think? 1,2,3, go! I’m down with it.
OMEGA-LINKS: We’ve Got (Brian) Wood for Net Neutrality, and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’
I’ve been fucking BUSY lately. This means several things. First, I’m eating three sandwiches at 4 a.m. while weeping into my Fleshlight. So color this a Space-Ship Colonic. ‘Cause I’m flushing them links out in one post. We got everything from Brian Wood, to Guardians of the Galaxy, to Netflix slap-fighting with the FCC.

Chip Zdarsky’s Zack Snyder/The Joker Tweet Wins Everything
Chip Zdarsky isn’t just fucking crushing it as the artist on Sex Criminals. He’s also one of my favorite Twitter accounts to follow. Madness, madness everywhere! And while I cry at what Snyder is doing to the DCU, at least Zdarsky could make me laugh for a moment.
RAFAEL GRAMPA’S rendition of THE JOKER is the NIGHTMARE WE DESERVE
Fuck to the yes. Rafael Grampa is a general beast in the comic book world, and his rendition of the Joker does nothing to dissuade me of that fact. Grampa’s rendition of the Joker can be seen in this week’s Batman Black and White #2, which features a short story by the creator.

‘THE DARK KNIGHT RISES’: What do you honestly f**king expect?
The Dark Knight Rises drops tomorrow at midnight, amid an avalanche of geek hype. It’s the sequel to the best superhero movie ever made, a movie that featured a once in a generation performance by Heath Ledger. With that in mind, the movie enters into our pop culture psyche facing unfathomably unrealistic expectations. Insurmountable standards.
New Arkham City Screens! The Joker and Cleavage!
Every batch of Arkham City screens features at least one image pimping some glorious cleavage or latex bound babe. This is crop is no exception, and I think we all know how pleased I am with it. Oh yeah, the Joker is in it too.
