‘Star Trek Beyond’ casts Lydia Wilson
I’m not familiar with Lydia Wilson. But Star Trek Beyond has cast her, which means she’s obviously awesome and I anticipate enjoying her performance in the film. You know, the film that was co-written (I think?) by Simon Pegg and is being directed by the great visionary of our time, Justin Lin (this is a statement I don’t even remote believe anymore, but I’m just going to double down. Our culture has taught me that a #hottake is more important than actually believing in what you’re saying.)
Joe Taslim (‘The Raid’, ‘Fast & Furious 6’) joins ‘Star Trek Beyond’
Star Trek Beyond has gained itself a certifiable bad ass. Joe Taslim, who has mollywhopped motherfuckers in Fast 6 and The Raid, is going boldly into space. But hopefully bringing the head kicks and shit.
Justin Lin shares first ‘Star Trek Beyond’ photo, confirms title
Justin Lin is working on the next Star Trek flick, a job I feel he’s much more suited for (I know Star Trek fanboys are vomiting as I type this) than True Detective. The auteur (formally the greatest auteur of our generation before my meds kicked in) has shared the first photo from the current gig.
