Andrew Garfield wants MILES MORALES to be next SPIDER-MAN

Miles Morales.

Andrew Garfield thinks the next Spider-Man in the flicks should be Miles Morales. Wouldn’t this be killer? Wouldn’t this be so surprising that the hairs on my nipples would be instantly transmuted into cotton candy through sheer will of reality-distortion? I’m on board.

DREW GODDARD is directing ‘SINISTER SIX’ Spider-Man spin-off

sinister six

That Sinister Six Movie is really coming, eh? Well, if it’s going to happen, it might as well be powered by a talented mind. Sony’s Marketing Machinations have announced that they have successfully ensnared Drew Goddard, and tethered him to the SS directing chair.

‘AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2’ Super Bowl Trailer Teaser: Bro, Catch Her Gently

Amazing Spider-Man 2.

1) Yes, part one. Now they’re splitting up teasers and pimping the reveal of the second halves. 2) Look at Sony’s Wunder-Trailer Gurus trolling Gwen Stacy’s fate with that final shot. 3) I’m really looking forward to this flick.

Marvel announces POST-CATACLYSM ‘ULTIMATE’ line-up. MAKE MINE MORALES.

Ultimates.

Fuck yeah! If the Ultimate universe lives, I’m glad this is the form its taking. Everyone and their dumb brother seems ruined by Galactus, leaving Miles Morales to pretty much run the fucking show. I love it. I love it!

Sony EXPANDING ‘SPIDER-MAN’ FRANCHISE with ‘VENOM’ AND ‘SINISTER SIX’ flicks.

Get this guy a movie.

Cinematic comic book universes for all! All the universes! All the characters! ‘Cause when something is hot in Hollywood, you do the obvious. Wring the concept of all its energy, novelty, and excitement. Sony knows how Hollywood works. Sony has their hands obviously on the meat grinder.

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN Miles Morales DEFINITELY COMING to regular MARVEL U. Lame.

Miles Morales.

Miles Morales was really neat because he was a half-Hispanic, half-African American who was the Spider-Man of the UMU. Well, now he’s coming to the regular Marvel U. And he’ll be just one Spider-Person among a deluge of clones, dumb asses, Doc Ock, and others. This has me significantly bummed.

‘MARVEL KNIGHTS’ returning with several INDIE-CREATOR driven series. MATT KINDT like wut?

Kindt! Is in!

Marvel Knights is returning, baby! Back in the day, Marvel Knights arrived on the scene and punched my balls with awesomeness. Maybe it doesn’t hold up (I don’t remember), but the Kevin Smith and Joe Quesada run on Daredevil was one of my favorites at the time. So I’m pretty goddamn excited that the imprint is returning under the tutelage of some indie darlings.

SPIDER-MAN by Rafael Grampá? WEB-SHOOTERS PRIMED.

Beautiful.

Don’t know if this is old or not. Don’t care. It’s probably from something I read years ago. Chalk up my memory loss to caffeination and heavy medication. Found it on our boy Benjamin Santiago‘s Tumblr, and figured I would flip it over here. ‘Cause it is Rafael fucking Grampá.

Watch: Paolo Rivera draws a ‘DAREDEVIL’ COVER IN 11 minutes. Time-lapse++

Daredevil #22.

Pretty outstanding video by one of my favorite artists hanging in the Marvel game, right here. Paolo Rivera has shared with the world a video of him rocking out the cover to Daredevil #22. Particularly awesome is how the video lets you see how the artist uses his own poses for reference when drawing the characters. I knew he did such a thing, but it is entertaining to all of a sudden see a picture of Rivera juxtaposed with the Webbed One.

BUTCHER BILLY inserts old-school MARVEL ART into superhero movies.

This is some outrageously fantastically swell endeavoring, right here.  Artist Butcher Billy has taken old school Marvel artwork and interjected it into movies from the House of Ideas. The results are disjointed bliss.
