‘PUBG’ getting animated “project” from ‘Castlevania’ producer Adi Shankar and this is how you get me to give a shit
I couldn’t give two tugs of an Eldritch One’s dick about fucking PUBG, man. But if you’re gonna make an animated project based on the franchise with Adi Shankar, I’m going to perk up and torque up. Fucking sure, gimme dat. Gimme dat! Motherfucker is an absolute maestro at directing animated action, so you know this shit is gonna bring it.
‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ dropping on Xbox One on December 12th. Winner, Winner et cetera
PUBG, arguably the most popular game in the world right now, is coming to Xbox One this December. Meanwhile, the title isn’t dated at all on the PlayStation 4. I can’t imagine anyone arguing that the XB1 has near the exclusives that the PS4 does, but this is a considerable gain.
‘Fortnite: Battle Royale’ has 10 million players a mere two damn weeks after launch
The makers of PUBG may have accused Fornite of being a shameless rip-off of their title. Not only that, but they’ve threatened various vague legal actions. Yet despite all of this tomfoolery, the title is bringing in an incredible amount of players. These two titles, they got themselves a slugfest on their hands.
‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ continues smashing records, sets new all-time high for concurrent players
PUBG has added another feather to its e-braggery. The title recently dethroned Valve’s Dota 2 for most concurrent players. Fucking wild, dude.
‘Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds’ has sold 10 million copies, including 2 million in the past two weeks. I say, g’damn!
I don’t play PUBG, but that’s only because I don’t have a gaming PC. I do, however, watch a lot of it on Twitch. Which is saying something, because no other game being streamed has ever really caught my attention. Its appeal is the result of being a flagrant Battle Royale/Hunger Games rip-off. However, it’s not just a rip-off (or a wet-tongued homage, if you prefer), it’s also a colossal fucking success.
