Rumor: ‘Red Dead Redemption’ Remaster coming to PS4 and PC
So, tomorrow is Sony’s big PlayStation event. We know they’re announcing the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Neo. But they may have another bomb to drop, as there are rumors that the company is going to reveal a Red Dead Redemption remaster which will be console-exclusive to PlayStation 4. I’ve never played the game when it first dropped, so I would definitely fuck with this.
Sony releasing DualShock 4 adapter for PC and Mac
Nice! Sony is going to be release a Dual Shock 4 adapter for the PC and Mac. There was a long stretch where I wanted to use a DS4 to rock shit on my PC, but inevitably I gave up and just bought one for my XB1 controller. Alas, the thumb sticks are better anyways. (I find them better to the point where I had a friend mod out my DS4 thumb sticks for XB1 ones for when I played my PS4). Still, as a fan of Sony, I like seeing them get on this.
Leaked: PlayStation 4 Slim images via online auction site
If these images from an online auction are any indication, it looks like Sony is going to be following Microsoft’s lead as far as console iterations. “Slim” version of current hardware this year, and a souped-up more powerful one next year. Also, if these images are legit, the Xbox One S or whatever looks wayyy sharper.
PS4 System Update 4.00 bringing Refreshed UI, Menu Changes, Folders, and More
I love my PS4. But I’ve had beef with its UI for, oh, I don’t know, almost three years. Why can’t I pin things where I want? Why isn’t there an intuitive list of quick choices? Sony, obviously hearing my clarion call, is finally addressing the UI in its system update 4.00.
Xbox One was top-selling console in July; outsold PS4 first time since 2015
The Console War is heating up! Maybe. Maybe not. Probably not. But for the first time in a good goddamn while, the XB1 outsold the PS4.
Report: The High-Powered PlayStation 4 will be revealed Sept. 7
I will buy this high-powered PS4. ‘Cause I’m a sucker. I will know what I’m buying next month, when Sony will reveal said high-powered PS4.
Sony confirms ‘PlayStation 4.5’. Not showing at this year’s E3, no release date announced
Sony has gone ahead and thrown us an obvious bone, acknowledging the existence and upcoming (sometime!) release of a more-powered PlayStation 4.
