#November2019
‘Ant-Man 3’ is officially happening with director Peyton Reed returning. Hell yeah! Nice, fun, low-stakes popcorn franchise, IMO.
We’re getting an Ant-Man 3, baby! Nice. I appreciate Ant-Man. It’s funny, it’s cute, it’s forgettable. In short, it’s everything that most of the MCU is, without a desperate need to try and be more. It doesn’t pretend to be something deeply important, or have much to say, and honestly, I really appreciate that shit.
‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ director teases new suits and technology
I imagine, oh do I imagine, that the Ant-Man and Wasp flicks are going to be like the Iron Man movies. In the sense that each new installment will bring spiffy new technology for fans to eat up.
Peyton Reed returning to direct ‘Ant-Man’ sequel, ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’
When Edgar Wright left Ant-Man, I spent a good amount of time bemoaning his departure, and what it meant for the film. Additionally, I railed muchly against Marvel Studios’ replacement, Peyton Reed. Well! I ended up quite enjoying the movie. So I welcome Reed returning for the sequel. You?
James Gunn futzing loves the ‘Ant-Man’ movie
The initial reports out of Ant-Man were that it was, surprisingly, an enjoyable flick to most. Being a Marvel fanboy, I took this to mean I would like it (to some extent). And now the director of my favorite Marvel movie has come out in support of the film. Granted, what’s he going to do? Bash a movie from the studio that is supporting him? Probably not. But the level, and forcefulness of his support makes me optimistic.

‘Ant-Man’ Teaser Trailer: I Need You To Be The Ant-Man
Aiight, Ant-Man trailer. You hit enough of the right beats to get me to slough off my cynicism, dismay at Edgar Wright leaving, and jadedness. If but for a moment! If but for a moment. And in this moment, I’m excited.
