NEIL GAIMAN and DAVE MCKEAN returning to ‘SANDMAN’ in October. Gnarly.
Friggin’ righteous. Come this October, Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean, and J.H. Williams III are handling the Sandman. The series will be a prequel to the One You’ve Probably Read, detailing the events that let up to the initial series. Oh, you could figure that out? ‘Cause that’s generally how prequels work? Fair enough, fair enough.

NEIL GAIMAN returning to Marvel, bringing ANGELA with him.
I didn’t see this one coming. I suppose that isn’t surprising, since I cannot see much through the womb of caffeine and masturbating that I exist within. Neil Gaiman is returning to Marvel, and the good man is bringing Angela with him. Yes, that Angela. The one he co-created with Todd McExpensiveBaseBalls way back in the day.
Gaiman Foundation donates $60,000 to Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. Frak yeah.

NEIL GAIMAN Penning ‘SANDMAN’ Prequel In 2013. What Say You?

Neil Gaiman and David Mack Collaborate On Dude’s Tattoo To Benefit The CBLDF
Paul Pope is providing (yet another) variant cover for Before Watchmen and donating it to the HERO Initiative. Here’s a way cooler way to benefit a comic book-related foundation.
STEAMPUNK Festival Hits Waltham, Mass With[out] NEIL GAIMAN And WILLIAM GIBSON. I’m There.
[Note: William Gibson and Neil Gaiman will not be attending. See comments for more info.]
I enjoy steampunk whenever I pass by it in my cultural travels. Not enough to dress in its elegant swag, nor to delve deeply into the literature. Enough to appreciate it. Even at this novice level however, I’m beyond bonerized for the steampunk festival coming to my home state.
McFarlane Paying Gaiman $382,000 In ‘Spawn’ Settlement, Who Really Wins? Charity.
Remember when Toddy McFarlane said to Robert Kirkman, “they only sue when there’s money” and we all had a good laugh at his reductionist tendencies? Oh, good times. ‘Cause it really doesn’t mean there can’t be money and just cause or whatever. Such was the case in the Gaiman vs McFarlane court battle, where Gaiman ended up winning. A considerable amount of money, that he is going to donate to charity.
Neil Gaiman Is A F**king Scientologist? [Update] Neil To OL: No
[Caff note: This originally started as an “Awesome Comments” post a few days ago, but Neil himself commented to clarify so I’ve since updated it.]
Did you have any idea that Neil Gaiman was a Scientologist? Or might be one? I had no idea either. Then a Truth Bomber by the name of John Constantaine drudged up a post from last June and went to down with his knives of illumination.

Neil Gaiman Providing Voice For Animated ‘Bluntman and Chronic’. This Is Exceptional.
Neil Gaiman is lending his voice to an animated Bluntman and Chronic project that I had absolutely no idea existed. Jay Mewes accosted the writer and overall Dork Legend, and the dude? He said yes.
Tom Hanks To Produce Six-Season Adaptation of Gaiman’s ‘American Gods.’
The whispered-about, rumored-about HBO adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods is officially a fucking go. Tom Hanks and his totally mint production team are planning a six-season adaptation.
