Monday Morning Commute: Autumatic Boner!
I’m one of those generic-ass motherfuckers who really enjoys Spooky Season, friends. Though, I ain’t alone it seems. There seems to have been a real surge in the amount of people appreciating Autumn. Maybe it’s because we, as a culture, are embracing the end of all things. The North is melting. The forests are burning. Fascists run rampant in governments. What does that leave us to do?
Worship skulls. Stick dead leaves in our ass and scream at the infinite void. And, spend time with one another. A community of those if not eagerly, at least expectantly, awaiting the Eschaton.
Anyways! Welcome to these parts. Here? It’s Monday Morning Commute! The rundown of what we’re all looking forward in a given week. Aside from, of course, the End of All Things.

‘Mindhunter’ Season 2 Trailer: The Summer of Manson continues on, plus Son of Sam!
I’m extremely, extremely stoked for the second season Mindhunter. It’s been, what? Nearly two goddamn years!

Somehow, I thought we already knew the official date for Mindhunter season 2. But, I guess not! Prepare yourselves though, it drops in little over a month. August 16.

Mindhunter’s first season was objectively fucking rad. But, the wait for the second has been interminable. Interminable, I say! However, good news. Its release is finally on the horizon.
David Fincher returning to direct ‘Mindhunter’ Season 2, along with other talented folk
We already knew that Mindhunter was getting a second season. That alone was cause to fucking celebrate. However, there’s more good news. Fincher himself is returning to the director’s chair for two episodes of the sophomore season, and is bringing other talented directors in as well.
‘Mindhunter’ is officially renewed for a second season. We can have nice murderous things alert!
Mindhunter fucking owns. A quiet, disturbing, gorgeously shot meditation on the human psyche, and uh, serial killers, I’ve been obsessed with it since Netflix dropped it. I knew that the company had commissioned a second season way back. However, them motherfuckers have officially gone ahead and renewed it. Like, whatever the fuck the difference the difference is there.
