‘The Dark Tower’ Trailer: You’re A Gunslinger, Right?
I don’t know The Dark Tower at all, so I really have no idea how this trailer resonates with fans of the series. But! I hope ya’ll dig it.
Matthew McConaughey Would Return For ‘True Detective’ Season 3
Matthew McConaughey is ready to come back for some more True Detective. Me? I’m down for it. Yes, the first season ended perfectly. But my rationale is something like thus — it can’t possibly be worse than the second season. If it sucks, it sucks. But if it works? Hey, it’s all bonus round at this point.
‘The Dark Tower’ Image: Gunslinger And Man In Black Do The Stare Down Thing
Here’s a new image from The Dark Tower adaptation dropping next year. It’s got itself a stare down between the Man in Black and the Gunslinger. I, uh, I don’t have anything else to bring to this post, since I’ve never read the fucking series. But! Enjoy!
Matthew McConaughey misses Rust Cohle, would consider returning to ‘True Detective’
Torn. I would love more Rust Cohle in my life. Torn. As much as I miss Cohle, there’s really no reason to unspool the character’s coda at the end of the show’s first season. But still. More Rust Cohle. Torn.
Matthew McConaughey turned down ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ villain role
Well, shit. Matthew McConaughey turned down the “villain” role for Guardians for the Galaxy 2. Which, whatever that means, has me thinking he turned down the role of Star-Lord’s dad. I get it. He’s got shitty Lincoln car commercials to star in while “maintaining” his “integrity” or whatever #baselessbitterness.
New ‘Interstellar’ poster dares us to go beyond
It’s the dregs of the movie circuit right now. Ain’t much coming out, ain’t much catching my eye. So I’m glomming onto anything that portents of better times ahead this year. Like a new poster for Interstellar.
Matthew McConaughey wanted for ‘The Stand’ adaptation
Matthew McCottonCandy is wanted for a long-ass film adaptation of the The Stand, playing the bad guy. I don’t know anything about the movie, other than People Seem To Like It, and I Should Probably Read It. So I don’t really know what to make of this casting news.
‘Interstellar’ Trailer: Couldn’t You Have Told Her?
Oh man. I have it on good authority (Christopher Nolan+The First Two Trailers) that this movie is going to break me. In all the best ways possible.
