Famke Jansse dropping JEAN GREY cameo in ‘The Wolverine’, aiight.
Don’t really care for Famke Janssen one way or the other appearing in The Wolverine. What I do give a shit about is keeping her out of the First Class universe, but I’m not holding my breath. How do you folks feel?

‘IRON MAN 3’ TEASER TRAILER: It’s totally extremis!

GEORGE ROMERO writing “secret” zombie comic for Marvel. Hmm.
Apparently, Romero is working on a zombie comic for Marvel. Does George Romero matter anymore? That is, in the present. An honest question to his fans. Like, if this dude was in his heyday, I imagine I’d be much more excited about this news. It has been years since he churned out something I’ve loved, and with each passing installment in his movie catalog I’ve cared less and less.
Marvel sets a release date for ‘ANT-MAN’ flick. This movie is really real!
Excepting some colossal disaster, the Ant-Man flick is really happening. There is always a glorious tingle in the loins when a whispered fan legend actually comes to fruition.
CM PUNK writing introduction to ‘AvX’ hardcover. That’s about right.
If you’re late to the game or new to the site, it is worth mentioning that I think AvX was a steaming pile of “refresh”-powered nonsense. I don’t think anything proves my point more than the fact that they’ve brought in a wrestler to do the introduction. I know he’s a legit comics fan, but. I don’t know. I suppose there isn’t really any purpose to bringing in someone with insight to a slug fest batch of hot water crap.

It’s been a good year for creators speaking out on how the Big Two comic book publishers have essentially devolved into churn factories for movie properties. Not certain that anything good will come to pass from it (hint: Rendar and I haven’t bought a comic book in a month, if you’re wondering our feelings on the industry), but it’s invigorating to see people speaking up. Greg Rucka has once again stepped into the batter’s box. Here is more from his interview with Clint magazine that we covered earlier in the week.

Talented as sin Greg Rucka is yet another comic creator no longer wanting to do the work for hire song and dance. They’re dropping like lies, tough I’d be remiss to not also comment on the pantheon of fresh and wonderful blood the Two Beasts have stoked up on lately. To siphon dry.

‘DAREDEVIL’ is heading back to Marvel, folks. Also! Joe Carnahan’s NC-17 sizzle reel for his ummade adaptation. So good.
No late night theatrics will be pulled. No rushed shooting schedule. After nixing what sounded like a fantastic but drastic script by Joe Carnahan, the movie is going home to the rest of the Universe. Fantastic Four stared idly from the bus window as its mate left behind the beleaguered studio.
