James Gunn: “There are no real plans” for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’, Me: Yeah Okay.
James Gunn said there are no real plans for GoTG 3. I assure you, Mr. Gunn, that Marvel is certainly planning on milking that zillion-dollar franchise a third time. As for your involvement in the movie? I’m not sure, maybe you do leave the series. Who knows. If the sequel rules, I hope you stay.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ News: Tessa Thompson shares Valkyrie’s sword from the set
I can’t wait for Thor: Ragnarok. I can’t wait for more Thor. I can’t wait for Planet Hulk. I can’t wait for Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.

Confirmed: Brie Larson is “Captain Marvel”, check out the movie’s new Logo
Brie Larson is Captain Marvel! I fuck with it. I know a lot of folks who are skeptical at best, because they wanted fancastings such as Emily Blunt and Kara “I can’t act” Thrace from Battlestar. Well, let me know, skeptics. Let me know what kind of condiments you enjoy. I’ll give them to you to spice up the crow you’re going to be eating.
James Gunn says “new technology” will prevent ‘Guardians 2’ footage from leaking at SDCC
James Gunn must have read my blog post last week. You know, me. Czar of the Internet. IdiotCaptain of the Fools Brigade. ‘Cause dude was like, “the GoTG 2 footage being shown at SDCC won’t be seen by the public for a while” to which I responded “haha yeah okay.” While now this week bro is promising “new technology” to prevent leakage. A footage-convention diaper, if you will. To this I say: good luck.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ footage coming to SDCC; it “won’t” go up online
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is dropping some new footage at this year’s SDCC. Don’t get too excited, fellow plebs not attending the convention. The footage won’t be going online. ‘Cause the VFX are always early in these SDCC previews. That’s what James Gunn says. Anyone who has frequented Daily Motion or Tumblr or Anything Else after a SDCC preview knows that the footage? Probably going up online.
Rumor: Marvel Studios and Fox considering a crossover of some sort
Torn, man. I sort of file this under “baseless rumor”, and I don’t want to post it. But I also sort it under “fun fanboy speculation”, you know? Throw some chum to those of us geek-sharks here at OL. So here we have it. Marvel Studios and Fox finally teaming up down the road? Makes a lot of sense. Too much sense.
Sony planning Spider-Man Universe, continuing work with Marvel
Today, Sony Czar Tom Rothman confirmed that a Spider-Man Universe is in their plans, and they also plan on continuing their relationship with Marvel. Which, you know, is pretty fucking obvious.
Joe Quesada: Marvel Studios has the rights to Namor
Add Namor to the multitude of potential characters showing up in Infinity War. One of Marvel’s own Czars of Content has confirmed the character’s rights are under the control of Marvel Studios.
Michael Keaton back on as ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ villain
Where once there was darkness, now there is light! Keaton was up for the Homecoming villain last month, but reports had him bowing out. Well, he’s bowed back in! Can you back in?! Who fucking cares, you can!
