Michael Peña returning for ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’
One of the best parts of the surprisingly dope post-Edgar Wright Ant-Man was Michael Peña’s performance as Scott Lang’s friend, Luis. Due to this, it seemed like a no-brainer that the actor would reprise his role. Still though, nice to have some confirmation. Nice, indeed!
Marvel announces all their f**king release dates through 2019
Looks like if Justice League: Ain’t Nobody New In Town doesn’t want to compete directly with Marvel, they won’t be able to claim release date ignorance. The House of Ideas has dropped their Cinematic Schedule straight through fuckin’ 2019. Goddamn, 2019. I’ll be bald, fat, wedded, prone to leaky nipples, and probably have a kid. The future is going to be fun. But it’s also going to be fucking terrifying.
Rumor: JOHNNY DEPP for Marvel’s ‘DOCTOR STRANGE’ flick.
Remember the days when it was like Marvel totally nickled and dimed every talent around them? If these Depp to Marvel rumors are true, boy are those days changing. Those economic motivations. Morphing.
MICHAEL DOUGLAS IS HANK PYM in ‘ANT-MAN.’ Wait wut?
Well then. Broken news has broken in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Looks like Paul Rudd is going to be playing the more comedic, younger Ant-Man. With Michael Douglas playing an older Hank Pym.
‘DOCTOR STRANGE’ to be played by Justin Theroux? Tell me moar.
Oh yeah, there is a Doctor Strange! movie afoot. It had completely slipped my mind. Well, it is coming in Marvel Phase Something Such. Don’t you worry your pretty little heads. We haven’t heard much about the flick, but now casting rumors are a-percolating. The latest (or first?) rumors are centered around Justin Theroux.
Rumor: “PLANET HULK” key part of Marvel’s Phase Three movie plans.
The latest rumor birds are barfing up thrice-chewed reports that Marvel’s PHAZE 3 movie plans are going to contain nothing less than Planet Hulk. I don’t know, yo. This would be particularly audacious (and awesome), so color me skeptical they’re going to aim this high. Here is hoping I am wrong.
Marvel sets a release date for ‘ANT-MAN’ flick. This movie is really real!
Excepting some colossal disaster, the Ant-Man flick is really happening. There is always a glorious tingle in the loins when a whispered fan legend actually comes to fruition.
