The first issue of Miracleman by Gaiman & Buckingham (is that seriously the fucking name) will drop in September. The release will be the realization of that miraculous (HAHAHA) announcement back in September 2013 that the famed franchise would see its Gaiman-run completed.

Secret Wars continues to bring absurd, awesome, off-beat comics to the Marvel Universe.

Brian Michael Bendis is leaving Uncanny X-Men and All-New X-Men. Which is no big whoop to me, because I didn’t dig Uncanny and All-New went stale potato chip over the course of twenty issues or so. However, I do give a big whoop about the creator signing a new exclusive contract with Marvel. It’s uh, big news or something?
‘Star Wars’ #1 is going to sell over one-million copies.
Next month Star Wars #1 is dropping on shelves, kicking off Marvel’s newly formed alliance with The Force. I had sort of expected it to sell a good amount, but apparently the fucker is going to be the highest selling comic in twenty years.

Chip Zdarsky of Sex Criminals fame is getting into the Howard the Duck game. And while he’s the goddamn talent-consummate mad men artist behind the aforementioned Sexual Criminality, mofuckah’ is writing the Duck tales. This development is something that seems straight-out of one of Chip’s lunatic Twitter rants. I love it.

Hickman says Dustin Weaver has completed his ‘S.H.I.E.L.D’ art
Man, I feel old as fuck. I know that I’ve been waiting for the Hickman/Weaver collaboration, S.H.I.E.L.D., to finish up for a while now. But I had no idea that it had been four fucking years since the series started. A series which while seemingly dismissed should not be forgotten. The son of a bitch was a glorious, frothy philosophical circle-jerk that still managed to squeeze in a goddamn shit-ton of glorious action and artwork.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ screenwriter Nicole Perlman to pen ‘Gamora’ comic series
Gamora is the latest character from Guardians of the Galaxy: Death to Grimdark to get her own ongoing comic book series. Dope! Doubly dope? The comic is going to be written by Nicole Perlman, who was the screenwriter for the flick. Details and the full cover for #1 after the jump.
