Carrie-Anne Moss joining ‘Iron Fist’, reprising her ‘Jessica Jones’ role

Carrie-Anne Moss

I haven’t watched all of Jessica Jones. I know Carrie-Anne Moss is in it, though. I also know Carrie-Anne Moss is in the second season of Daredevil, cause I did watch that shit. Now Moss is joining Iron Fist, becoming another integral thread weaving together all of the Netflix-Marvel-Verse.

‘Iron Fist’ casts Jessica Henwick (‘Thrones’, ‘Force Awakens’) as Colleen Wing

Jessica Henwick

Iron Fist is gearing up. Existing. Casting folk. Making moves. Whispering sweet nothings to your Mom and Dad, full of empty promises and dismissible dreams. The show’s latest casting? Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.

Report: Marvel’s ‘Iron Fist’ is auditioning actors to play Shang-Chi

Shang-Chi

Iron Fist! Luke Cage! Shang-Chi! Iron Fist. The bold term means I’m signalling the show, the bolded term after the names means I’m indicating apparently all these characters will be on the show! Names! Bolded terms.

Finn Jones’ ‘Iron Fist’ debuting on Netflix’s ‘Luke Cage’ before his own show

Finn Jones

Makes sense, right? Jessica Jones debuted Luke Cage. Luke Cage will now debut Iron Fist.

Netflix’s ‘Iron First’ show has landed its showrunner

Iron Fist.

Showrunners! They are important, man. They can make a series fantastic, man. Or condemn it to assitude. Just like, you know, compare Noah Hawley to Nic Pizzolatto. So Iron Fist landing its showrunner may be equally important to the quality of its show as it landing its lead, and the show has done just that. The person running the show? Scott Buck.

Rumor: Marvel’s ‘Iron Fist’ is going to be a Netflix movie

Iron Fist.

Hmm. Hmm. I really like Iron Fist, and this smacks of the character is getting the shaft here, in light of a Punisher push. But hey! Even if they’re pushing him out of the Defenders and giving him a movie instead of a series (fucking bullshit), maybe the aforementioned flick will be decent. What about you? Think this is legit? Would you prefer a series? Or a movie?

AGENT COULSON (Clark Gregg) wants role in MARVEL’S NETFLIX SERIES

Agent Coulson.

Clark Gregg wants Agent Coulson to get into the Marvel action poppin’ off on Netflix. The geek-turned-actor has lamented that he will be “totally butt hurt” and “rife with fanboy gloom” (I’m paraphrasing) if he doesn’t get a shot to act next to whomever shall play Danny Rand. I mean yeah dude I appreciate your zeal and shit, but like. Everybody in the MCU thinks you’re mortis.

Marvel filming 60 HOUR-LONG NETFLIX EPISODES in New York

Defenders NYC

Talk about an endeavor! Marvel is intending to film sixty fucking hour-long episodes in the City of New York. That’s a lot of episodes smelling like homeless people grilling on the grates at Times Square and pizza. Naw — just kidding — snark power down! — this is a pretty impressive attempt.

Matt Fraction spits about why he left ‘IRON FIST.’ Makes sense, still bums me out.

Iron Fist.

For but a moment in time, Iron Fist was the fucking jam. Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction, and David Aja collaborated on one of my favorite runs in the last…five years? (I’ll be honest I can’t remember when this run took place — blame the caffeine and the psychoactives.) It burned oh-so-brightly, and then like that it was gone. Unlike Thor: The Mighty Avenger though (another criminally under appreciated title in my book), it wasn’t canned. The team just sort of…left. Now Matty Fraction gives some insight into the why.
