Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the New Black when it comes to being at the center of comic book rumors. It’s rumored the duder is going to be The Bats in the Justice League movie. It’s rumored that in this movie he has two dongs, one which shoots raw cookie dough. Now, it’s rumored he may be crossing the line from DC and into Marvel movie madness. If this rumor holds true (and let me tell you I don’t think it will), Batman will be going galactic very soon.

I don’t really know Guardians of the Galaxy, so I’m going to outsource my opinion to you folks more familiar. Who of these two finalists would you most like to see as the lead in the upcoming movie adaptation?

Here is some non-news upside your head. Jim Starlin is the creator of Thanos, and he has let fly that the Death Loving son of a bitch is going to be in Avengers 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy. This comes as a shock to approximately nine people, recently emerged from an underground hovel where they had been trying to conjure Cthulhu.

After Avengers, just let Joss Whedon do whatever the fuck he wants. Let him. He has earned it. He turned your skeleton of a script into the best comic book movie of the past few years. Now he should be given the keys and told to have the car home by…whenever the second movie is due out.

I have no fucking idea what it’ll take to make Guardians of the Galaxy cool. I really don’t. Thankfully, this joint is arrriving in a post-Green Lantern world. While watching the aforementioned pile of simmering fecaltainment on television with Rendar yesterday, I commented that at least GotG won’t be as bad as that flick.
James Gunn in talks to direct ‘GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, and I dig it.
Preface: I haven’t seen Slither or Super, so my opinion is worthless (even more than usual). Keeping that shit in mind, I think it is pretty swell that Marvel is bringing James Gunn into the fold. Thinking outside the box and all that happy horseshit.

Reading through the plot description for Guardians of the Galaxy, I have arrived at several realizations. First, this sounds a hell of a lot like Green Lantern. Second, I have no fucking clue about anything regarding the Guardians. And I do know, is that Marvel is going to have quite the interesting time marketing this pig.

What is boggling my mind is why Marvel is thinking that this is going to be such icy hotness. The next part of their monolithic movie empire.
