‘Y: THE LAST MAN’ movie lives! New Line meeting with directors.
While Brian K. Vaughan spends these days dominating on Saga with Fiona Staples, homeboy first got noticed for his series Y: The Last Man. The comic has been in movie development hell for a while now, but things seem to be picking up around the yard. People are quietly murmuring, pulling up their pants. Getting on with their business.

People attending the Metal Gear 25th anniversary event were lucky enough to catch a glimpse at the next MGS jam. The game is titled Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, and if the teaser footage is any indication, we’re getting sexy Snake back. I’m pumped. Don’t get me wrong, having Snake as an old wizened piece of shit in MGs4 made sense thematically. Emotionally, it was a drag carrying his old fart balls around.
‘GOLDENEYE 007 had its classic multiplayer mode added last minute. Ridiculous.
A big staple of my adolescence was playing endless hours of GoldenEye 007 with Rendar and our friends. Raging hardcore at bullshit tactics but loving every minute of it. I imagine this is a bit of a ubiquitous feeling across gamers of our generation. Low and behold some crazy shit! The generation-defining mode was a last minute addition that the powers that be didn’t even know about.
‘CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER’ CO-DIRECTOR’ chats up about flashbacks and Cap’s growth.
Captain America: Winter Soldier Rules co-director Anthony Russo recently opened up to The Huffington Post about the direction Cap’s sequel is going. He does a lot of dancing around the issues, but I don’t know what else you would expect. Movie is almost two years out, it is a bit early to begin going spoiler alerting.

Eric Stephenson is taking time away from being the dopest voice in the biz and publisher of Image comics long enough to pen his own tale. Fuck yes. If his pontificating on the industry is any indication of his eloquence, this will be a jam.

Sweet merciful lord, bare pity on me. I am not worthy of all the hotness that Image comics continues to unfurl. I am not. However, with your blessing I will sweat all over them like the excited fanboy I am. New works from Fraction? Graham? And more?
‘DJANGO UNCHAINED’ Loses Kurt Russell and Sacha Baron Cohen. OH WELL.
I’m pretty friggin’ stoked for Django Unchained, and there isn’t much that can be done to deflate my excitement. So while two actors I am not disinclined to rub-up upon have left, I shall continue with my jittery smirks when contemplating this flick.
Cosplay: ‘HALF-LIFE 2’ Gordon Freeman and Alyx Give No F**ks
With each passing day, I become more and more certain I will never play Half-Life 3. My mortal coil shall be shed before the title’s release in 2022, and never will I know the conclusion. It depresses me. Gordon Freeman? Alyx Vance? They don’t really give two-tugs about it. Look at them hanging out in Target, buying some Blu-Rays and a couple of really neat-looking bowls to put spaghetti in. The easy life.
