Cosplay: ‘Fallout 4’ goes Rosie The Riveter
Man. Yesterday as a quickly evaporating mirage spent gleefully wandering the Wasteland. Today I am back at work, and spending every minute wanting to be back in bombed-out Boston. This cosplay will have to suffice. For now.
Weekend Open Bar: Even Console Cowboys Need Time In MeatSpace
Man, it’s the Weekend. And not a moment too soon. Just a tiring week. Or more specifically, a week filled with duties that weren’t Fallout 4. So many duties that weren’t Fallout 4. However, the Weekend has arrived, I’m raising the shutters on the Open Bar, and my reunion with Bethesda’s Latest Baby is looming. I’m up to a bunch of other stuff this weekend, too. You know, grading papers, playing Mega Man X with Bateman, maybe watching the latest Ronda Rousey fight. Some Eating Too Much. Some Football. And most importantly! Hanging out with you here at the Weekend Open Bar.
Monday Morning Commute: His Brains Burst With Remarkable Grace
Monday Morning Commute! The weekly column where all of us gather (you! and you! and you! and you and you and you! all of you!) to share what we’re excited in a given week. I’m going to level with you — this week for me it is pretty much That Game and Everything Else In My Life. A deep, delineating chasm can be seen from PsychicSpace, and it represents how neatly my life has been cleaved into two this week.
But I suppose I’m doing some other things this week, and I suppose you may be doing something else as well! So let’s gab about our existential happenings and all that gobbledygook.
‘Fallout 4’ features Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman!), who also provided five original songs
Wut? Wonder Woman is a blues and jazz singer? #TheMoreYouKnow about Lynda Carter! She is all up in Fallout 4, and she ain’t just voicing a character. The talented legend is also providing original song for the futzing game (of the year).
‘Fallout 4’ debuted by Bethesda to celebrate game’s release
Fallout 4 is close, man. Like, really close. I know it. You know it. Bethesda knows it too, and they’re releasing a fucking brew to commemorate the release.
‘Fallout 4’ script is bigger than ‘Fallout 3’ and ‘Skyrim’ scripts combined
Goddamn! This is exactly the sort of news I cannot handle. I cannot handle this news because it makes me sweat Fallout 4 so hard. I cannot handle this news because it surely cements the Death of my (Non-Existent) Social Life come this November.
‘Fallout Monopoly’ is a real, official thing. Dropping in November.
Fallout 4 ain’t the only wonderful, Fallout-based product dropping in November. No, no. Bethesda has also announced that there will be a Fallout-themed edition of Monopoly hitting the shelves.
