‘Deadpool 2’ director officially helming The Rock’s ‘Fast and Furious’ spin-off. I’m fully torqued
David Leitch is officially directing the Fast and Furious spin-off starring The Rock and Jason Statham. While it’s true he wasn’t who I hoped for (rumors had Shane Black in contention), it’s a fantastic consolation prize. Dude has more than proven his action chops across John Wick, Atomic Blonde, and the upcoming Deadpool 2.
John Cena wants a ‘Fast and Furious’ movie with Dwayne Johnson and nothing could be more perfect
There is only one downside that would come from John Cena teaming up with The Rock for a Fast and Furious movie. It would be the potential tears in the space-time continuum, as reality itself is threatened by the combination of so much awesomeness.
‘Rampage’ Trailer: Dwayne Johnson’s monster movie finally leans into its absurdity
Even though I’m still pissed The Rock hasn’t done a nice, Hard-R, brutal action movie, I’m just going to embrace this Rampage flick. Yes, it’s patently fucking absurd, and that’s what may make it fun as fuck.
Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-off wants ‘Deadpool 2’ director David Leitch
Listen, let’s be fucking upfront. The previously rumored Shane Black would be the perfect dude to direct a Rock/Statham F&F spin-off. However, if we can’t have him? David Leitch and his glorious brand of action would be a great runner-up.
Dwayne Johnson wants Armie Hammer to play Shazam in the DC movie universe
I’m on record as being a big fan of Armie Hammer, due more or less to the fact that he’s an outstanding babe, and charming as fuck in Free Fire and The Man From UNCLE. So, yes, sign me the fuck up for him playing Shazam.
The Rock’s ‘Black Adam’ Getting His Own Standalone Movie
The Rock’s Black Adam is getting his own standalone movie. I don’t really know how this is going to work. DCU doubling down on anti-hero flicks? Perhaps a light massaging of the character’s utter evilness?
Dwayne Johnson & Henry Cavill Share Holiday Greetings From Black Adam and Superman
Someday, Black Adam and Superman are going to punch one another a lot. Which sounds fantastic. Until then, we’re going to have to sate our lust for the two of them onscreen together with a picture of the two beefcake actors playing the characters.
DC’s ‘Shazam!’ movie is set in the DC Film Universe. Yeah, no crap?
Apparently it’s news that The Rock’s Shazam! movie is going to be set in the DC Film Universe. I mean, was there speculation that it wasn’t going to be? I don’t know. It’s Friday afternoon, slow news day, here have this morsel of #nonnews, folks.
