Report: ‘Rogue One’ has Disney Execs worried; reshoots have been ordered
So, scuttlebutt has it that Disney is worried about what they’ve got on their hands in Rogue One. If you believe the internet detritus, the movie is “not up” to The Force Awakens. Me? I’m wondering: in what sense? It looks pretty cool. Is it too tonally disparate? Too dark? Not funny enough? Hmm.
‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Part 1 and Part 2 will be Retitled
Really? Retitling Avengers: Infinity War’s two parts? Like — they’re pretty straight forward, and sensible. However, the Russo Brothers say the titles are temporary. But hey, I guess it makes sense, if they’re actually different-enough movies. At the same time, though. They’re certainly better than Rogue One: A Star Wars Story: Anthology Tales Time or whatever Lucasfilm is titling their side flicks.

‘Han Solo’ Spin-Off Movie will feature Chewbacca. Obviously.
I sort of figured that any movie starring Han Solo will also star, to some extent, is fucking Ride or Die Hairy Breh. Just sort of figured that. Assumed it. And apparently I wasn’t assuming-figuring-dreaming too wildly, because Disney Czar Bob Iger confirmed my assumption-figuring-dream.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ casts Tommy Flanagan (‘Sons of Anarchy’) as a bounty hunter
I’m not familiar with Tommy Flanagan, who was in the show Sons of Anarchy. But the actor will be playing a role in the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie, where he will be hunting down Rocket Raccoon.
Disney and Spielberg’s ‘The BFG’ Trailer: Wait this isn’t Quake?
I know it is an easy joke, made by many. But I really don’t know The BFG outside of lighting dickheads up in Quake III Arena. I imagine it is a very lovely book, and this may very well be a very lovely movie.
Report: ‘Captain America: Civil War’ trailer debuting with ‘The Force Awakens’
This makes sense. Disney is propelling us into the apocalyptic monoculture, slowly accumulating our entire pop psyche for their benefit (and mine, #stockholder). So why not use the amazing largesse of corporate synergy that The Force Awakens presents as a means to promote another vessel?
