DC Sells Over 5 Million Issues In 6 Weeks. Hype Wins.
All the buzz surrounding DC’s confusing, crappy, underwhelming and poorly reasoned relaunch has resulted in beaucoup sales for the published. Lots and lots of sales.

Barnes & Noble Pulls 100 DC Comics. Not The Best.
Barnes & Noble and the rest of the rotting tangible world couldn’t have been happy when DC announced that they were cozying up to Amazon and their new Kindle Fire. B&N wasn’t content to quietly seethe though, and they’ve decided to give DC the middle finger. Probably to their own detriment.
New ‘Superman’ Set-Photos Have Clark Kent Going Scruffy Beatnik.
There’s some new set-photos out of the Superman filming camp. Nothing too spoilery, though it does have our Clark Kent looking a bit rough around the edges.

DC has announced that they’re partnering up to bring collected editions and their graphic novels exclusively to the new Kindle Fire Tablet Time.

Scott Lobdell sucks. His slutty Starfire fanboy wet dream gallivanting as “feminism” pissed off a lot of people last week. Like I said, Lobdell sucks. DC has tried to get his back, advising readers to “check the ratings.”

As much as I despise Jim Lee’s outdated swag, I’m surprisingly a fan of the new Superman outfit. Chitin armor, turtleneck, no underwear and all. Not down with the new look is Pastor Skye Jethani.

Supergirl’s Relaunch In The DC ‘New 52’ Is Working The ‘Hunger Games’ Crowd. I’m Interested.
USA Today has some artwork from this week’s Supergirl #1, along with an interview with the comic’s co-writers. They have an interesting bent on the Supergirl character. A character that I’ve never really been interested in, but after reading them talk about her?
I’m buyin’ at least the first issue.
