FOX signs SIMON KINBERG to serve as the Kevin Fiege of their MARVEL MOVIE UNIVERSE
Television shows have showrunners. Now it seems that the bloated comic book universes that are slowly coming to encompass all of our cinematic pop culture (exaggeration) will all have their own steward. Fiege for Marvel (you could argue Whedon, but Fiege seems eternal), David S. Blowhard for DC, and now Simon Kinberg for Fox’s own Marvel line.
OH GOD: DAVID GOYER pitching a ‘SANDMAN’ MOVIE with JGL INVOLVED.
If you’ve read anything of mine regarding David Goyer, you know that I consider the dude to be a bit of a crap-covered dildo. I don’t have anything against the lad personally (he is probably a terrific human being), but his scripts and movies have the subtlety of a dynamite stuck in someone’s bung hole.
Olga Kurylenko testing for WONDER WOMAN role in ‘BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN’. Mayhaps.
Olga Kurylenko is testing for the role of Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Supereveryone. And she ain’t the only one. Maybe. With each new actress that is rumored to be up for the part, the potential for that character appearing crystallizes further into fact.
BEN AFFLECK signed on for MULTIPLE FILMS as BATMAN; will help ‘CREATE’ his rendition.
In the completely unsurprising department: Benny Affleck has signed his life away for multiple flicks, agreeing to play The Cowl’d One until roughly 2032. That’s just part and parcel when it comes to joining a superhero franchise these days. Last time I checked, Chris Evans’ had leased away his sperm’s rights to play Steve Rogers should he suffer a sudden end.
There is more, though. Affleck has agreed to help create his rendition of the Batman.
‘MAN OF STEEL’ SEQUEL getting SUPER (LOL) FAST TRACKED. Snyder and Goyer writing.
This has to be good news regarding the initial buzz surrounding Man of Steel. Despite not dropping for a few more days, the son of a bitch is already in line for a sequel.
Rumor: DAVID S. GOYER writing and directing ‘JUSTICE LEAGUE’ flick. Or just writing.
David S. Goyer’s stock appears to be on the upswing. Homeboy contributed to the Dark Knight Trilogy, wrote Man of Steel, and now could be dipping his fingers into the intestines of the Justice League script.
HICKMAN and FRACTION writing episodes of ‘DA VINCI’S DEMONS.’
After the last Man of Steel trailer left my testicles wanting of reproductive juices, I decided I needed to change my opinion on David Goyer. So I was beginning to think maybe I should check out his show Da Vinci’s Demons. Now – fuck – I really need to get on the wagon. What is the cause of this imminent necessity? Two of my favorite writers will be penning episodes for the show’s second season.
