Pirate Bay To Anonymous: DDoS IS Censorship, Yo! Ain’t Cool.
Pirate Bay and Anonymous are two of the titans of the Fuck You Rules Internet Gang. They don’t roll directly as a posse, but it is sensible to state that due to what the two of them are up to on the reg we may pair them up. This week had them in a bit of a slap fight, with Pirate Bay not particularly cool with something Anonymous was up to.

White House Says Obama Will Definitely Veto CISPA. Word?
Word out of the White House is that President Obama will veto CISPA. At this point though, I’m not certain that shit even matters. Hard to imagine the Determined Parties not soldiering on, continually throwing spaghetti until some of it sticks.

CISPA prevails! As a collective community we must have blown every ounce of protester-load we had getting SOPA nailed into a casket, cause we sure as shit ain’t doing much about CISPA. I’ve riffed on CISPA before here on the Mothership. The bastard born from the aborted coils of SOPA, it has every intention of ramming us Internet users in the honeypot with barbed intentions. Its proponents (like Facebook) whisper that it’s harmless. Inevitable. The EFF begs to differ.
