WB To Reboot Batman After ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ Also JLA Movie For 2013.
We all know it’s coming. It is the dark, depressing underbelly of Christopher Nolan finishing off his bonerfying Batman trilogy. We all know that the moment he wraps on the son of a bitch, and the moment we gaze upon its guaranteed (GUARANTEED) resplendent glory, we’ve seen the last of the Nolanverse’s take on Bruce Wayne.
This week in the LA Times, the new WB Guru Leader Hivemind commented on this inevitable change.
Batman will be reinvented, but!, with Nolan producing.

Wait, Maybe Joseph Gordon-Levitt Isn’t Alberto Falcone.
The amazing adventure that is guessing Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s role in The Dark Knight Rises continues. Back in the day, he was totally the Riddler. Then he was Robin. Then he was Alberto Falcone. Supposedly. Then he was confirmed as Alberto Falcone by Variety. Now he’s unconfirmed.

JGL. First rumored, and now signed to The Dark Knight Rises. JGL. First rumored, and now confirmed to be playing Alberto Falcone in The Dark Knight Rises. Nolan’s trilogy takes a thematically sensible turn, tying all the movies together with a throwback to Falcone in the original flick, with a son that’s inspired by Joker’s escalation of the game in the second.

It was known that he was in talks to be up in the bitch, but now it’s confirmed. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is going to be in The Dark Knight Rises. Hell yeah.
Zack Snyder’s ‘Superman’ To Be Clean Reboot.
There’s been some ambiguity when it comes to reboots lately. Marc Webb’s Spider-Man is sort of one, maybe. The just announced David Slade-helmed Daredevil isn’t one. Or maybe it is. There’s one flick that is no longer in question, and that is Zack Snyder’s Superman. This son of a bitch is a clean reboot. Thank the Maker.

No seriously maybe these are legitimate plot points for The Dark Knight Rises. Pinky swear. Maybe. Are you interested in the latest possible quasi-spoilers? They’re more of a general premise than anything else. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Viggo Mortensen To Play General Zod In Superman Reboot?
Now we’re fucking talking. Apparently Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder’s desire man to play General Zod is none other than Viggo fucking Mortensen. While we’ve heard that both Lindsay Lohan and Kevin Costner have been up for parts, this is the first time that I’ve gotten my manjuices a-fluctuating about a particular casting rumor.
The kicker though? They haven’t even spoken to the dude yet.
Tom Hardy Talks About Playing Bane In ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
When it was announced that Tom Hardy was going to be in The Dark Knight Rises, I was fucking pumped. Dude has crazy acting chops, and he’s studly like woah. When it was announced that he was playing Bane, I was like, okay cool. There’s no consternation emanating from me regarding any choice that Nolan has for his final Batman. No sir. He’s earned the pass. Others wondered how he’d incorporate a muscle-bound 1990’s reject character into his mythos. They worried. They fretted.
I didn’t, I knew it would be his own unique spin on it. Tom Hardy confirmed such a sentiment today during an interview.
Is This The First Set Shot From The Dark Knight Rises?
[Note: I wrote this up last night, thought it was too sensationalist, and then discarded it. But then legit places starting pimping it, and if they do, why shouldn’t hits-needy places like OL be a whore as well? Lesson learned: always be a whore.]
Fair warning: The Brother Omega have a aching purple priapism for the forthcoming third Batman flick by Christopher Nolan. It rages within our collective pants, beating against the confines of cotton and denim and zippers. So if you can’t hang with that, you’re going to be doing a lot of scrolling in the next fifteen months or so.
I’m going to be fapping over everything. Like this: a purported first set shot from the film. Shit doesn’t even have to be confirmed for me to get excited about it. This possibly, maybe, could be, a set picture. The elaboration on the origination of this possible picture comes from Nolan Fans:
A photo popped up on the JoBlo forums today of what appears to be the set for Arkham Asylum in The Dark Knight Rises. The poster says, “my good mate who is working on set at cardington where it’s being shot sent me this.” Not quite sure how legit this is, but we’re figured it’s worth a share. Perhaps it’s just a left over set from Batman Begins?

Marion Cotillard Cast In The Dark Knight Rises. Inception Reunion, Wut?
What exactly is going on here? The news coming out of one of the largest papers in France, Le Figaro, is that Marion Cotillard has been cast in The Dark Knight Rises. Back in the fall, there was news that Nolan was casting two female leads in TDR. With Hathaway cast as Selina Kyle, it appears that we’ve got our second leading lady.
