‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ Heroes are Brother and Sister; co-exist in game
Mass Effect: Andromeda is going to feature a brother-sister pair of heroes in the game. Not only that, but the ominous “N7 guy” who featured in an ME:A trailer way, way back? That is their father. No word on whether or not you can switch between the two characters ala GTA V, but what is known is that no matter who you choose, the other is “out there in the Universe” while you’re playing. Which can really mean a lot, or a little. I’m curious to see.
‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ 4K Tech Demo Footage: Foraging A Galaxy Never Looked So Good
Thoughts. 1) Fuck this looks so good. 2) Does BioWare even have any fucking gameplay for this game? A goddamn glorified tech demo? Hasn’t this shit been in development for five years? 3) Oh Jesus Christ, BioWare doesn’t have any gameplay for this game. 4) Fuck this looks so good. 5) Fuck I need this game. 6) I need a fucking PS4 Pro, now! 7) Wait, what if it looks even better on an XB1 Scorpio?
‘Mass Effect’ Trilogy Remaster teased by Electronic Arts
Once again, people around the Mass Effect franchise are teasing a remake of the original trilogy. I’m going to level with you: I 100% believe a remake is coming, and the only reason it has not been released yet is because it’s going to be strategically timed to prime the gaming psyche before the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Also, for what it’s worth: I would pay inordinate amounts of money to have a remade trilogy in my greasy paws right now. Fuck.
‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ E3 2016 Trailer: Awake In A New Galaxy
Fuck.Fuck.Fuck.Fuck. I need this game. Trailer straight offering nothing, and yet still straight breaking my dick.
‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ confirmed for “Early 2017” launch
Jesus Christ. When all is said and done I’ll have been waiting five fucking years for my next Mass Effect. Five fucking years!
BioWare secretly revealed its New IP at GDC on a team member’s t-shirt
Pretty wild guerilla (?) marketing. A staff member from BioWare wore the company’s new IP on his shirt throughout GDC and no one (understandably) noticed. I imagined there are many folks currently attempting to find a picture of said Lad, and divine the new IP. Do the hard work for me, friends.
‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ editor has left BioWare…and the gaming industry
Whelp, I suppose we can maybe figure out why BioWare has delayed the next Mass Effect. The company has lost its third key member in as many months. Buckle up, we deep into development turbulence. Exceptional development turbulence.
‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ lead writer leaving BioWare to return to Bungie
What the fuck? Man. I want ME4 to be good so hard. So hard! So hard, that this news really concerns me. The optimist within this meat-shell hopes this is just a case of Chris Schlerf returning to Bungie because he missed the joint and they made him a sizable offer to save Destiny. Not, you know, him abandoning a ship of dumpster-fire ruin.
Fans are remaking ‘Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic’
Apparently fans are doing what no one at BioWare (or a third-party BioWare could whore the project out to) seems interested in doing: remaking Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I mean, it seems like a license to print money. Doesn’t it? But hey — these folk are doing it on the free.
