Behold VENUS and the ULTRAVIOLET SUN
Yeah! Man! Must be the dirty undies I’ve been huffing all day, because this picture looks out of control. Just the Sun looking all sorts of outstanding because of a Venusian eclipse. The colors, man! Popping.
The Milky Way Galaxy’s MAGELLANIC STREAM is a pretty ribbon.
The southern hemisphere of our galaxy is gassy. Much like my southern hemisphere. Unlike my own Tootin’ Corner (as I call it), the reasons for the Milky Way Galaxy’s ribbon of potentially star-forming gas are much, much more epic.

M74 is the PERFECT SPIRAL GALAXY. I guess. I’m not really sure.

THE CONE NEBULA is all ICE CREAM FREE, BUT STILL BEAUTIFUL
Yeah, sometimes churning up the headlines for our space porn titles is difficult. Pretty much all of them can read “Nebula X is fucking beautiful!” and I’d be done with it. Being a chubby-chub, I hear “cone” I think “ice cream.” Welcome to my world.

Oh, sexy. Check out Thackeray’s Globules. They’re so shiny. And enormous. And something? Not sure where I’m going with this conceit. Anyways, behold interstellar dust clouds, the largest of which are a goddamn light-year wide.

The Tarantula Nebula ain’t fucking around, no sir. No ma’am. In fact, it’s the most violent star forming region in the whole goddamn local group of galaxies. Thanks to the Hubble Space Telescope, you can see allllll sorts of crazy shit going on in this picture.
