Them GLOW creators aren’t staying on the mat (heh) for too long! No, indeed they’re not! They’ve got a new series in the works at Apple TV+, and the former show’s star Alison Brie will be joining them.

I’ve been thinking about an Apple TV lately. Not for any good reason. Because I’m a technology glutton, and playing with new gadgets is fun for me. But even though I’m both a) a gamer and b) thinking about an Apple TV, I have to confess that the fact that Apple is focusing on gaming with its newest iteration doesn’t make it any sexier to me. How about you?
Apple wants live and local programming for its TV service
Looks like Apple TV has the potential to be more than expected. The company is apparently interested in more than just cutting deals with cable and premium channels, and is looking to get into the local programming game. For uh, those seven people who still watch the nightly news.
Apple TV service maybe/probably being released this Fall
Apple TV Cable Thing may finally be ready to be revealed to the world. The Wall Street Journal people are reporting that it’ll be a smaller service than typically expected from cable companies. Around 25 channels. But for folks rocking the cord-cutting, it may just what they want.

Why wouldn’t Apple use its seemingly financial clout to cobble together its own web TV service? Why wouldn’t they?!
