‘No Man’s Sky’ getting biggest update this summer, also coming to XB1
Man, No Man’s Sky came out like a flame-seared turd when it first dropped. But, credit Hello Games for having patched and continuing to patch the game into something seemingly dope. The latest installment of this unfuckery is dropping this summer, and the game is finally dropping on XB1.
Square Enix has created a new studio led by ‘Final Fantasy XV’ director. Should be called “Never Ships Studios”, right?
I loved the first half of Final Fantasy XV. There never was a second half, so I can’t really comment on it. In its stead was a collection of garbage moments, non-narratives, and non-existent locations. So, if the director behind it is getting his own studio, I guess I’m fucking half-excited.
‘The Banner Saga 3’ is arriving this summer and dropping on Nintendo Switch first
This is a neat little coup for the Nintendo Switch, my dudes. The Banner Saga 3 is dropping this summer, and it’s arriving first on Nintendo’s console-handheld chimera. I’ve never played either of the titles in the series, but I’ve only heard really good things.
‘Shadow of the Tomb Raider’ Teaser Trailer: More Tombs, More Raiding, Coming September 14
The first two games in the rebooted Tomb Raider franchise have been fucking rad. I mean, like really fucking rad. So, I’m beyond stoked to snag this third title come September. #FillerText #ButItsTrue.
Square Enix is hiring “core members” for the ‘Final Fantasy VII’ remake, in case you thought it actually existed by now
The Final Fantasy VII remake is, at best, coming in ten years as a broken and underwhelming game. This is despite the fact that it was announced a thousand years ago, and has been “in development” since then. Oh, you need some proof? Well, how about this. The company is hiring “core members” for the title. Despite the fact that the title was announced a thousand years ago.
Activision officially announces ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’ for those that care. I think…I do?
Last year was the first time since 2008 that I didn’t buy the annual Call of Duty refried beans platter. This year though, with the release of Black Ops 4, I’ll probably be falling back in line.
Ubisoft announces ‘The Division 2’ and I’m ready to reenter the Dark Zone, baby!
I loved The Division when it dropped. Unfortunately like many, I checked out when I hit the then-flimsy endgame. It’s true that Ubisoft bolstered the fuck out of the content and updated it into a very fun game. However, by the time I was convinced to check it out again, I was lost in the multitude of changes. So, I’m particularly stoked about The Division 2.
‘Monster Hunter: World’ is now Capcom’s best-selling game. Killing the charts too, amirite
I knew that Monster Hunter: World was a hit, but I guess I didn’t fucking appreciate the magnitude of its popularity. Apparently, it’s the goddamn best-selling Capcom game of all time.
‘The Blackout Club’ Trailer: A coming of age co-op survival horror from ‘BioShock’ and ‘Dishonored’ alums
How have I not heard of the developer Question, before today? They are compromised of talent that has worked on Thief, Dishonored, and BioShock: Infinite, and already have one game until their belt. Fuck me sideways in a pit of trash. Anyways, I know about them know, and their next game The Blackout Club looks pretty cool.
‘Kingdom Hearts III’ Trailer: Another New World, Another Lack Of Release Date
I refuse to believe this game is real until it drops. I straight-up fucking refuse it, friends. Dropping this year? Please.
