Rumor: Michael B. Jordan may play Boba Fett in ‘Star Wars’ standalone film
Michael B. Jordan as Boba Fett? Listen — I get it — Boba Fett is supposed to be some annoying ass New Zealand kid or something. Michael B. Jordan decidedly is not. But he’s a great fucking actor, and that’s what I want in my SWU. Great fucking actors. (And I mean, is this even going to come to fruition? I doubt it.)
‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ News: Gugu Mbatha-Raw is officially cast
Gugu Mbatha-Raw is joining Episode VIII. It was rumored, and now Collider has confirmed it.
‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ News: Gugu Mbatha-Raw considered for female lead
I am not familiar with Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s work. Though I’ve seen her in Jupiter Ascending, apparently. All I remember of that flick is Channing Tatum using Space Rollerblades and kicking his feet across shitty superimposed skylines. But hey. Gugu Mbatha-Raw. She’s in the mix for a significant Episode VIII role.
‘Star Wars’ Theatrical Cuts going to be re-released on Blu-Ray, according to John Landis
Ah. It’s that time again. That time where that shitty rumor comes out, getting me all excited. Cheeks flushed. Scrotum tightened. Heart palpitating. Despite said rumor hitting often, and delivering never. You know of what I speak. The whole “the Star Wars trilogy’s theatrical cuts are going to be re-released!” bullshit. And here’s the rumor. Again. This time being substantiated because it comes from John Landis? I guess?
Rumor: ‘The Force Awakens’ getting post-credits scene ala Marvel, teasing ‘Rogue One’
Well. I suppose it makes sense. Star Wars isn’t just returning. No ma’am. No sir. It’s becoming its own cinematic universe. And with a cinematic universe comes continuous movies. And with continuous movies comes teasers. Stingers. Post-credits sequences to keep us nerds’ seminal fluids sloshing about.
Confirmed: Benicio del Toro is ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ villain, shooting begins in March
Looks like we’ve got our Episode VIII villain, in the form of rumored-and-now-confirmed actor Benicio del Toro. Stoked.
‘Star Wars’ Portraits capture the characters during their moments of relaxation
I always pegged Vader as enjoying some tea. When he’s not abandoning his children, committing genocide, or having an asthma attack. Now thanks to these portraits I can see him partaking in such a moment of calm! Plus, these portraits feature bits of momentary repose for some of the other characters from the Star Wars universe.
