Denis Villeneuve is still interested in directing a Bond flick and my balls can’t even handle the thought. Admittedly, it can’t be Bond 25 due to his upcoming Dune adaptation. But, that doesn’t matter. Bond 26, Bond 39. Just make it happen.
You see, I’ve been sweating Villeneuve for a good goddamn bit now. I mean, pretty much since Prisoners. However, man. It’s tough to difficult to describe how hard he rocked my geek prostate with Blade Runner 2049.

First ‘Deadpool 2’ poster gets us ready for Thanksgiving by riffing on a classic Rockwell painting
Yo! Check out the first poster for Deadpool 2, which carries on the franchise’s satirical bent. As we inch closer to needing more inches on our belts, the movie’s promotional team has dropped a poster that spoofs a classic Rockwell painting.

The dudes behind Kong Skull: Island are teaming-up once again to tackle another beast. The duo, whose flick Kong: Skull Island was pretty fucking rad, are taking a stab at adapting Metal Gear Solid.
Ben Affleck doesn’t know if he’ll play Batman again after ‘Justice League’, this dude hates the role
Ben Affleck has just up and fucking said it, folks. Dude doesn’t know if he’s going to play Batman again after Justice League. Amid months of rumors that the dude is departing, I can only interpret this as he is probably fucking done, but isn’t going to reveal such while doing promo for Justice League.
‘Bond 25’ will not feature Christoph Waltz returning as Blofeld. I can’t imagine people caring either way
Man, Spectre sucked. In fact, it sucked so much that I had completely forgotten that it featured a performance by Christoph Waltz. That, that’s saying something.
‘The Flash’ standalone movie depending on success of ‘Justice League’ so good luck with that
I know it may actually sound fairly optimistic for me, but I have no idea how good Justice league will be. This is optimistic for me, since I was calling it a certifiable turd bouquet nine months ago. But, then Joss Whedon took over. Is the movie going to be good? No fucking idea. But the Flash movie apparently really hopes so.
‘Shazam’ movie casts Zachary Levi in lead role. This is so dumb, but worse things have worked
Zachary Levi has been cast as Shazam, and I ain’t thrilled. Ain’t got time for the dude. For better worse. Eminently punchable face. Loosely and unfairly reminds me of that other dicklord fraud, Chris Hardwick. But with that emotional, poorly constructed diatribe at out of the way, I’ll tell you this. Seemingly worse casting decisions have worked out. Here’s hoping.
Tom Hanks starring in sci-fi movie ‘Bios’ by a ‘Game of Thrones’ director. Remember Tom Hanks?
Man, I haven’t given a fuck about Tom Hank in a hot, quiet minute. But, I suppose the dude still exists. Not only that, but said-forgotten-and-now-remembered actor is starring in a movie helmed by one of the more prominent Game of Thrones directors.
‘Fast and Furious 9’ being directed by Justin Lin, who never should have stopped directing them
I say it without irony that Justin Lin’s run on the Fast and the Furious franchise is some of my favorite dumb-action-movie directing of the past 20 years or so. Not only that, but the series suffered a marked decline (again I’m serious), when he left after the sixth installment. Dude can direct an action sequence, friends. So, this is fucking fantastic news to me.
‘Deathstroke’ movie coming from the director of ‘The Raid’ and this news is so goddamn good
Man. The director of The Raid is going to be making a fucking Deathstroke movie? I’m, I’m in. A batch of the old glorious Gareth Evans ultrav iolence splashed across an ultra violent character? Sign me up. Superhero movies and shows have been ripping off his style since the original Raid dropped, so it’s about time he just entered the genre himself. Showed everyone how it’s done.
