I want this movie to succeed. That said, I have a bad feeling about its chances at doing so. Not because it’ll be a particularly bad movie, but because it’ll be a particularly whatever it’s fun movie with a big budget. But, I’m digging this fucking trailer. How you feeling about it?

Alex Garland, director of Ex Machina and the upcoming (and apparently dope as fuck) Annihilation wants to make a Swamp Thing movie. Given the quality of his past two directorial efforts, and his further work as a great screenwriter, I say they should fucking let him.
Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-off wants ‘Deadpool 2’ director David Leitch
Listen, let’s be fucking upfront. The previously rumored Shane Black would be the perfect dude to direct a Rock/Statham F&F spin-off. However, if we can’t have him? David Leitch and his glorious brand of action would be a great runner-up.
Warner Bros. wants Michael Bay to direct the ‘Lobo’ movie and this is perfect
Maybe it’s the longer days contributing some solar-powered optimism, maybe it’s my latent love for portions of Michael Bay’s oeuvre. But, I’m down for the dude directing a Lobo movie. Both of them are a monument to excessivism and mindless violence. Both of them are meat-head dumb asses. And together? They may damn well be unstoppable.
Joaquin Phoenix in talks to play The Joker in the character’s origin story movie
Joaquin Phoenix as The Joker? I can support this casting. But, I ain’t getting my hopes up for the casting, or the movie. Phoenix was supposed to be Doctor Strange, but then bailed the fuck out. Not only that, but, man. Getting excited for a DCU movie at this point feels like an exercise in false hope.
‘Venom’ Trailer: Well, I hope Sony is playing the long game with this movie
Hey! It’s the Venom trailer! Without Venom! The majority of people I’ve talked to about the Venom trailer are shrugging at best. I can get not wanting to give an enormous glimpse at the titular symbiote in the first trailer, but, man. This trailer a resounding yawn.
‘Deadpool 2’ Trailer: More Ultraviolent Meta Merriment!
I’ve been waiting for this trailer for a good goddamn while, my dudes. And, it doesn’t disappoint in the the fucking slightest. We got some meta shots at Justice League, a weird self-referential look at Cable’s arm, and a tease of David Leitch’s brand of action. Let’s go!
‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ Teaser Trailer: Mustachioed Superman Throws Hands
You know what? Justice League was always going to be garbage barrel soup. No mustache ruined it. So, I’m glad that mustachioed Henry Cavill is throwing hands and looking swank in this teaser trailer for Mission: Impossible – Fallout. His mustache is both beautiful and powerful, and I’m here for it.
