Gonna level with you. I turned off this trailer at the first gunshot. I need to keep all the action saved for the big screen. But, even the dialogue and setting got me torqued. This movie is going to change my life.

I, for one, have no problem with Jason Reitman directing a new Ghostbusters movie. If it fucking owns, fantastic. If it fucking sucks, it’s just more pablum quickly disappearing from mind. Reitman is a pretty talented dude, so there’s a good chance the former will happen. And if it doesn’t? Again, who fucking cares.

Christopher McQuarrie directing TWO more MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movies. This is great fucking news for the best action franchise going, folks.
Yo! This is such good news. Christopher McQuarrie has signed on for two more Mission: Impossible movies. In case you ain’t in on it, dude is hugely responsible for helping turn Mission: Impossible into the best action franchise going. He wasn’t sure if he was going to return after Fallout, but he certainly is now. This is a solid, solid fucking win for legitimate action movies and practical effects.
‘The Batman’ is going to feature the Penguin as the villain which is cool by me
If the reports are true, The Batman‘s Big Bad will be none other than the Penguin. I can fuck with this.
The ‘X-Force’ movie is probably dead, as are ‘Gambit’ and ‘Doctor Doom’ courtesy of the Disney/Fox deal
Whelp, it appears that X-Force movie is fucking dead. Sort of expected, given the Disney/Fox deal. But, I gotta admit. Pretty bummed. Drew Goddard is a legit talent, and I was interested in his take on the team.
Report: ‘Star Trek 4’ is shelved which is not the most gnarly thing, but alas
Not gonna lie! I’ve been silently lusting for Tarantino’s Star Trek. Not Star Trek 4. And yet, I’m rather bummed that the project has been shelved. Probably should have seen this coming though, right? Pine and Hemsworth both walked away last year over a contract dispute. Plus, Star Trek Beyond barely registered in the pop culture consciousness. That said, still kinda sucks.
