They ain’t down with my over-the-top shit talking of Batman vs Superman vs Lex Luthor (feat. Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Others, and now Doomsday). So I’m just going to leave this here. Gilliam’s ‘Zero Theorem’ Trailer: Solve For Existence
Terry Gilliam has punctuated moments in my life with unsettling, challenging, beautiful movies. One of my most vivid movie experiences was watching a shitty copy of Twelve Monkeys at the age of 11. The lack of catharsis and the themes presented quite literally kept me up that evening. Motherfucker was raw, and he definitely laced my formative-brain with oddity and subversion. So when a new movie of his drops, I’m stoked. Sprung. Zero Theorem is no different.
‘Lucy’ Red Band Clip: ScarJo Ices Unworthy Dudes
Holy fuck, I hope the rest of the movie has action as good as the shit sported in this clip. Give me raucous Luc Besson at his best. Killer action, silly plot, entertainment. I’m ready.

Chip Zdarsky isn’t just fucking crushing it as the artist on Sex Criminals. He’s also one of my favorite Twitter accounts to follow. Madness, madness everywhere! And while I cry at what Snyder is doing to the DCU, at least Zdarsky could make me laugh for a moment.

Yes, Ant-Man. Yes! Continue to mutate into some abomination. Slough off your Wright-Cornish skin. Waddle through the comedic mud of Adam McKay. But! But continue your metamorphosis! Let us not stop tweaking this script until every ounce of Inspired Auteur has been left in the rubbish pile, replaced with the Clarion Call of Meddling and Wasted Potential!
First Look: (Depressing, Cynical) SUPERMAN from ‘BATMAN V SUPERMAN’
This image of Superman from Batman v Superman sums up everything wrong with the Zack Snyder-led DC Cinematic Universe better than I ever could. Dumb. Cynical. The antithesis of everything Superman is, should be, stands for. A rote performance of a misunderstanding of what superheroes all need to be. Namely conflicted, “dark”, tortured.

I really enjoyed Pacific Rim. I never thought the movie would receive a genuine sequel, instead having a new installment banished to Endless Wind Cycle of Speculation. Well – I’m wrong again
