Where there’s a fucking dedicated producer, there’s a way. Dredd producer Adi Shankar has revealed that he’s bringing the series back. Maybe not as the fucking sequel we want (yet). But at the very least as an online mini-series. For free.

I feel like I must cover The Hobbit because people I care about and respect enjoy the movies. (Despite them being utter, utter, insulting piles of garbage.) So here’s a character poster for the upcoming conclusion to the (bloated, CGI-riddled, narrative nightmare that is) trilogy.
Rumor: ‘Avengers 3’ may not feature stars of Phase 1 and Phase 2
Avengers 3 may not feature the stars of the MCU’s Phase 1 and Phase 2? Interesting. I could see this working, if only because the film is rumored to be split into two halves. The first half features a cavalcade of newbies led by Star-Lord (and perhaps Captain America), only to have the “real” Avengers arrive in Avengers 3.5?
‘Deadpool’ flick confirmed to be part of the ‘X-Men’ movie universe
Pretty, pretty, pretty cool. A lot of the news that comes out from Sony and Fox as they try to forge their own Marvel Cinematic Universe has me dismissively yawning like a persnickety bitch. But I can dig this. Deadpool mouthin’ off to Jimmy Mac’s Professor X? Breaking the fourth wall and talking shit about Wolverine? Sounds good.
Robert Downey Jr. continues to talk ‘Iron Man 4’, jokes about Gibson directing
I have to believe at this point RDJ is just doing some adorable posturing when it comes to Iron Man 4. Like, sure he runs his mouth, and hints that he’s not sure if it’ll happen. Referencing his age and shit. But as others have rightfully pointed out, I think this can all be translated to “If the money and the script are right.”

I was totally already I promise you swear to God swear to the Lords of Kobol going to buy the Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-Ray. But now?! Now The Powers At Marvel have revealed that the disc will come with a fucking exclusive sneak peek at Avengers 2: Stark Done Fucked Up. So sold. Okay, nice. Keep twisting my nips.
Adam Sandler movies (and ‘Crouching Tiger 2’) being made for Netflix
Apparently Netflix is getting into the fucking insipid movie business. The company has signed into a four-movie deal with Adam *Reference To A Movie From Years Ago* Sandler. Somewhat more positively, Netflix is giving life to a Crouching Tiger sequel. Which like the world didn’t ever need, but I suppose hey whatever positalk or whatever.
Chuck Palahniuk adapting his own ‘Lullaby’ for the screen. F**k yeah
I can dig this. Love Lullaby. Dread adaptations. Love Chuck. So, the good sir penning the script to his own adaptation gets me a bit excited. Palahniuk’s involvement drives me past any of my hesitations regarding adaptions of beloved works.

Apparently nailing down Joaquin Phoenix for a Marvel role is fucking impossible. Dude was rumored to be rockin’ Banner back in Avengers. Didn’t happen. Now it appears weird-but-righteous-dude ain’t committing to Doctor Strange. This has led to this latest rumor, which purports that the studio is kicking the mystical tires on Ethan Hawke. Offering him the lead and shit. Well then.
