‘Deadpool’ Christmas Trailer(s): One Green, One Red. Get It?!
Deadpool promotion continues on, and today on Christmas the movie received two new trailers. One green! One red band! And while I don’t really enjoy either of them, I hope you find them to be a hoot! It’s Christmas! Let’s be positive!
Animated ‘Spider-Man’ movie delayed until December 21, 2018
We are all going to have to wait a bit more for that animated Spider-Man movie. Speaking of which. I had completely forgotten that Chris Miller and Phil Lord are working on an animated Spider-Man flick, to compliment the live action one that Sony is putting out. I probably shouldn’t have though, since I trust Lord and Miller much more than I do the talented on the live-action movie.
‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ TV Spot: The BroDown Throwdown
A German TV spot has brought with it some footage of Bat-Man and Super-Lad throwing down.
James Cameron: ‘Avatar 2’ dropping Christmas 2017
James Cameron is looking around this week and seeing a movie beginning to legitimately challenge his shitty Runs With Blue Wolves flick for box office records. And, dammit, while I ain’t psychic, I have to imagine that’s why he’s injecting some Avatar news into the Pop Psyche.
‘Deadpool’ IMAX Trailer: More Cheap Euphemistic Jokes
I’m not really feeling pretty much anything Deadpool, save for the action. And that guy from Silicon Valley. The rest seems comfortable in traipsing in quasi-homophobic jokes and dick puns. Which, sort of sounds like me. But, don’t forget. I suck.
‘xXx 3’ is actually happening; Samuel L. Jackson is returning, too.
The xXX franchise is really returning. Vin Diesel is really returning, too. Samuel L. Jackson is also really returning, too-too.
Maybe: ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ getting Black & White release in 2016
You may recall that George Miller made a black and white cut of Fury Road. He did. He wanted it on the home release. He didn’t get what he wanted. But now! Now that wild (purportedly intended) version of his may see life — in the futzing theaters.
Jeff Lemire’s ‘Essex County’ being adapted for TV
I love Jeff Lemire, and I love his continued success. Which reminds me, even though I recently read Essex County, I should probably polish off my back issues of Descender (also being adapted).
