Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ #1 sells more than 250,000 copies
The first issue from Ta-Nehisi Coates and Brian Stelfreeze’s run on Black Panther sold an incredible 250,000 copies. Hot damn! How is this for a debut issue, sales wise? Tremendous. This also explains why I could not find a copy of the issue anywhere.
Comic Book Legend Darwyn Cooke has passed away at 53
Frakin’ terrible, man. I don’t know Cooke’s work as well as I would like, but even still, I’ve enjoyed what I’ve consumed, and regret that which I haven’t.
DC Comic will reveal The Joker’s real name this Summer
Listen. If I had to suffer through the shitty reveal of Wolverine’s “real identity”, you DC folk are going to have to suffer through the reveal of The Joker’s real name. After it occurs, do as I did for Logan’s, and just will it out of your brain. You’ll fail. But will it.
DC has unveiled the Comics and Creative Teams behind their “Rebirth” launch
Behold! These are the titles and creative teams that comprise DC’s latest (don’t call it a) relaunch.
Watch: ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Trailer recreated in ‘Fallout 4’
Two of my favorite things running, Marvel and Fallout 4. Stitched together in glorious polygonal-cinematic aberration.

No lie. Today I was taking a leak, and for some reason I was thinking about Paul Pope. Not sure why. I thought to myself, what the fuck does that guy do besides DJ, make pretentious tweets, and stunning covers? Where the fuck is Battling Boy II? Then I thought — speaking of talented but the opposite of prolific artists, where the fuck is Rafael Grampa these days? No sooner did I think this — and listen, I’m not saying I willed it into Reality, but maybe I did — did I find this new alternate cover by him. Keep Reading »
Marvel is giving Han Solo his own comic mini-series
Who the fuck doesn’t want to read a Han Solo mini-series? Like, in the abstract. I’m not asking who is going to buy this mini-series, but rather, who hears this news and is like “Oh, Jesus Christ, no!”? Bastards. That’s who.
