Rumor: Next Batman game is ‘Batman: Arkham Legacy’ and will let you play as entire fucking Bat-Family!

Man, it’s been a hot minute since Arkham Knight. A hot, hot minute! No follow-up game. Not even any news about the follow-up. But if this leak is to be believed, the game is coming! Batman: Arkham Legacy. And, it’ll feature the entire Bat-Family as playable characters.

The next entry in the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham video game franchise is rumored to be titled Batman: Arkham Legacy. Furthermore, the game’s roster could include the entire Bat-family as playable characters.

Initially revealed via Twitter by industry insider Sabi, the journalist alluded to the title while also noting that the Dark Knight’s sidekicks and allies will each be playable, writing, “The stuff about the playable family seems to be legit.”

WB Games Montreal’s previous addition to the series was Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013, which served as a prequel to Rocksteady Studios’ 2009 game Batman: Arkham Asylum. Other mainline entries in the series include Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight.

An official announcement for Batman: Arkham Legacy remains to be seen.
