The original Metal Gear Solid is getting a vinyl album. It’s droping for all ya’ll fucking hipsters who fucked with the original cinematic gaming experience. Me? Do I secretly wish I had a record player? Fucking of course.
Mondo has announced that the soundtrack to the classic PlayStation game “Metal Gear Solid” is coming to vinyl for the first time. The score from Hideo Kojima’s stealth game will be pressed on double 180-gram vinyl with an option for either black or green smoke LPs. It features Rika Muranaka’s original song “The Best Is Yet to Come” and the packaging features original artwork by Randy Ortiz. It’s due out in September.
