Tom Hardy says more ‘Mad Max’ movies coming. But talk is cheap bro!
Yesterday, I gnashed teeth about the possibility of a Dredd TV show. Today, I turn my withering fanboy fuck-face glare upon the Mad Max franchise. Tom Hardy says there will be more movies. But, like, various motherfuckers been saying that since 2015.
CBR:
Actor Tom Hardy has reaffirmed there are more Mad Max movies on the way following the success of 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road.
Hardy took over from Mel Gibson as the title character in George Miller’s reboot of the post-apocalyptic action franchise. Rumors of the actor getting back behind the wheel for more Mad Max have circled since, but now Hardy reveals he is definitely on board for a sequel.

Hardy said it’s up to the studio to decide when Mad Max moves forward. “Obviously, it belongs to Warner Bros. so it would be them who green-lit it,” he said. “But a lot of projects are in radial, you know you wait for something to land when it’s real, and as soon as it’s real we’ll jump on it.”
