‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ delayed again, officially dropping Oct. 26, 2018
Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed, again. Don’t fault them too much, though. It’s hard to concentrate on making a new single-player game when they’re all ruthlessly masturbating with GTA: Online profits. Seriously though, I’d rather they take their time. All of the fucking time, apparently.
Polygon:
Red Dead Redemption 2 won’t make its previously announced “spring 2018” release window, developer Rockstar Games announced today. The game is now slated for release on Oct. 26, 2018, according to a post from Rockstar.
Rockstar apologized for the delay, saying the game needed more time for polish.
“We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay,” Rockstar said in a post on its website. “While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish. We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it … We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.”
Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game was announced in 2016, and was originally expected during fall 2017.
