‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Trailer: Who Knew The End of Everything Could Be So Fun?
Thor: Ragnarok looks absurdly, absurdly fun. Like, to the point where you’re like, oh, shit, the world is ending, huh? I’m fine with the movie emanating this vibe, since it’s echoed by my own vibe these days, as the world ends around me as well.
Polygon:
Thor: Ragnarok is Marvel’s next movie, but despite a few TV spots and a trailer from earlier this year, we haven’t seen much from it yet.
At San Diego Comic-Con today, however, that changed. Director Taika Waititi and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige introduced a new trailer for Ragnarok, as well as a new teaser poster.
Thor: Ragnarok is the third movie in the Thor franchise and one of the last movies before Avengers: Infinity War is released. The events of both this movie and Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther will tie heavily into Infinity War’s story. Both Infinity War and its sequel Avengers 4, which doesn’t have an official title yet, will end the 22-movie arc that Marvel has been building over the past decade.
Once this era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes to an end, Feige and the team will introduce new superheroes and get started on the Cosmic Universe that was promised a little while back.
