‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ Red Band Trailer: Stylishly Dressed Ultraviolence
I’m down for Kingsman: The Golden Circle. I was lukewarm on the original – liked it, didn’t love it – but the further away I get from it, the more I appreciate it as a fun, absurdly violent romp. I imagine the sequel shall follow suit.
The Verge:
There’s a new trailer for the sequel to 2015’s spy thriller and comedy mashup, Kingsman: The Secret Service. The two-minute look, fresh from San Diego Comic-Con, is packed with some impressive marksmanship, explosions, fist-to-fist combat, and a man being cut in half by a lasso. This is a red band trailer, meaning it might not be safe for work.
In The Golden Circle, British secret agents must team up with their American counterparts, the Statesman. The trailer features a joyfully American Channing Tatum filling in as a Statesman, alongside a star-studded cast including Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges, Pedro Pascal, and of course returning British agents Taron Egerton and Colin Firth.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits theaters September 22nd.
