Marvel debuts teaser image for ‘Inhumans’ TV show, reminds you its still a property
Maybe I’m just burnt out on comic book properties in general, definitely on TV, but I can’t imagine a Universe where I give a fuck about the Inhumans show.
With four months to go until its theatrical premiere, Marvel has unveiled the first teaser image for its “Inhumans” television drama. The emblem will be instantly recognizable to Marvel Comics readers from the costume of Black Bolt, the silent king of the Inhumans.
Now filming in Honolulu, Hawaii, the eight-episode ABC drama centers on the Royal Family of the Inhumans, a race of genetically advanced humans with extraordinary powers introduced in 1965 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in Marvel’s “Fantastic Four.” The first two episodes, filmed entirely with IMAX cameras, will premiere Sept. 1 in IMAX theaters, two weeks before the show’s broadcast debut Sept. 26 on ABC.
