Stephen Moyer has been cast as just a normal lawyer with, as far as we know, no powers in Fox’s X-Men show. That, however, is not to say that the True Blood veteran won’t have a big part. After all, the pilot written by Matt Nix centers on a couple with a mutant child, and, per Deadline, Moyer will play one of said parents. His character is described as “an ambitious attorney trying to balance the demands of his job at the DA’s office with his responsibilities to his family.” Because it’s hard to be a lawyer fighting for justice while also trying to evade evil forces out to destroy your kid. Meanwhile, Jamie Chung will be on hand as the teleporting Blink and Blair Redford will be a mutant leader simply called Sam.
