Shane Black’s ‘Predator’ Reboot Adds Keegan-Michael Key
Shane Black is rebooting Predator, and I can’t be more stoked. ‘Cause, Shane Black. And, the cast! It’s looking dope, and it recently added Keegan-Michael Key.
Boasting an ever-growing acclaimed cast, the upcoming “Predator” reboot — simply titled “The Predator” — is looking better and better.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, comedy icon and Emmy Award-winner Keegan-Michael Key is joining the cast of Twentieth Century Fox’s upcoming reboot of the thriller classic “Predator.” The role will be a departure from Key’s sketch comedy roots. He’s most famous for playing the often more manic half of “Key and Peele” on Comedy Central.
While Benicio Del Toro exited as the film’s lead, “Narcos” star Boyd Holbrook will head the new installment along with Trevante Rhodes (fresh off his breakout performance in Oscar-bound “Moonlight”) and Olivia Munn (“X-Men: Apocalypse”). Munn will be playing a scientist along with Holbrook and Rhodes’ ex-Marines who take on the titular Predators.
