‘Mr. Robot’ renewed for third season; I should probably watch its second
Mr. Robot is getting itself a third season! However, I haven’t watched Mr. Robot‘s second season yet. The power went out the one time Mrs. Omega and I attempted to watch it, our viewing schedules finally in sync. But, she’s going away for two weeks. YOU KNOW WHAT THE MEANS: Mr. Robot Season 2 blitzkrieg!
Mr. Robot has been a little uneven in its second season. There’s a lot of fascinating stuff at play, but the show has been bad about taking advantage of the audiences’ affection to do supremely indulgent hour-plus episodes. Yet, according to Variety, that hasn’t stopped USA from renewing the show for a third season.
Mr. Robot has only six episodes left of the current season, but things are finally starting to take off. The ladies are embroiled in sapphic spy plots, the Chinese are attacking the U.S. on all cyber fronts, and Elliot, the show’s hero, is having earnest staring contests with ALF.
A third season will likely focus more on the spy stuff than the ALF stuff. Which is a shame. Let’s start a campaign to bring ALF back.
